"Don't get attached to them."
For the first time, Pennywise actually looked serious. His tone, the way he stood up, or how his hazel eyes seems to lose its shine.
The girl stared at him. Petite, short hair—above the neck, orange, just like his, and with bangs.
Pennywise didn't waver.
And so as she.
She smirked. "That's funny. Since when did I ever get attached?" She questioned, while tilting her head at him.
"A crush... Is obviously an attachment." He responded.
Her eyes narrows at his tone. It's the kind of voice, where it had no silly mixed with it.
For many years, he had never shown his real persona to anyone. But ever since he had Yui. He couldn't technically hide it anymore.
"And I killed her right away... She was delicious." Her smirk grew wider. "See? What kind of attachment are we talking about?"
Pennywise stride over her, until he's towering in front of her. She stared at his chest, before lifting her head up, brows furrowed together.
"What—"
"I didn't gave you that power, to fuck around."
There was a beat of silent. They started at each other. Both looking like their finding ways to kill each other silently.
And then she laughed.
"You didn't gave me a power... Well, not really." She leaned closer. "You killed me. I just survived."
Something in his stomach curls.
Why is this little bitch, always like this, he thinks.
It's like she knows, what tone, the way she adjust her eyes, everything, all just to make him lose control.
Pennywise took a deep breath, leaning down to her. And that really pissed her a lot. Not only that she's once a human, so her size naturally is normal, he's also unnaturally tall.
She hated every aspects that made her look weak.
Specially when it comes to him.
She hated when he boss him around. Or teach her something, or being reliable to him.
"I didn't want this life."
Pennywise easily replied. "No one lives the way they want to."
In a swift, Yui scratched his face.
Blood floats around his face, the stone like skin he had, ruined.
His face is ruined.
"Maybe I did. I once did." She said.
Pennywise suddenly gripped her throat, his face healing fast. She didn't do anything, just lets him.
"You weren't happy. Didn't I told you?"
"I can't remember what I was back then... But humans are happy. So maybe I was happy..."
"You weren't!"
"YOU'RE A FUCKING LIAR!"
They were separated because of the force she had use. Now they're glaring, like they could laser each other to death by their eyes.
"I already told you. You were a loser... A dork—"
"I LIKED SOMEONE... N—NO... I loved someone. I knew I did... I kept dreaming about that girl..."
Her eyes glistened.
"And... She's dead. You killed her."
Pennywise smiled. Very wide.
Yui usually never feel scared around him. But this time she did. She was horrified.
"You wanna know the truth? Since you've been pissing me off lately... Going around. Fucking your own victims."
She scoffed.
"Like you never played with your victims before."
He snapped. "It's different!" His chest heaves, he couldn't get it, why is she this way?
She didn't grow obediently like she was supposed to.
He hated it... But he also loves it.
"You grow attachment to them if you sleep with them!"
"Fuck off! I'll fucking... Murder you..." She said through gritted teeth.
His face dropped, into unnerving still expression.
"Like how you murdered her."
Everything went silent.
The truth is she knows. Part of her knew. But Pennywise was someone who could only make her assumptions correct. And he had said it.
"You killed her. And you know it."
He walked closer to her, seeing her frozen. "What do they have that I can't give you? I gave you everything."
Tears spills down her cheeks. "Everything. Everything they have... You can't give that to me. You stole everything."
"It was your will to be this way. That's why you survived me. That's why you you're still here. You wanted this. You hated them."
They looked at each other. "Then why am I chasing... Something I felt before when I was like them once?... I want to feel those emotions again."
He stood close to him. "And I can't give you that?"
She wipes her tears away with the back of her hand, shoulders shaking. "Yes..."
"What if I can?"
"What..."
His fingers reached to held her chin, lifting it up. "You've been with me for a hundred years... So don't go now."
They stared at each other.
"Love me more than you did to her."
